Internship and cooperation opportunities database

Within the ACTT4Cosmetics project we have created a tool for facilitating learning and cooperation opportunities for students and various organisations and companies from the whole value chain of the cosmetic sector in forms of:

  • Internships/apprenticeships,
  • Joint dissertation topics,
  • Other work-based learning experiences.

This platform works as a matchmaking tool allowing students to search for work-based learning  or/and other cooperation opportunities within the cosmetic sector in Europe and contact the selected organisations directly. On the other hand, it offers the companies a possibility to publish their internship offers or research topics they would like to see addressed in students’ or PhD students’ theses.

Our tool is open to students, PhD students and/or recent graduates from all over the world as well as Europe-based organisations and companies from the broadly understood cosmetic sector.

Check out how to use this tool in 4 simple steps!

1. Check available opportunities

Review the announcements published within our INTERNSHIP & COOPERATION OPPORTUNITIES DATABASE to find the best option for you! In the database you will find internship and apprenticeship offers as well as research topics that you can address in your thesis and other work-based learning opportunities.

2. Contact the organisation

Once you’ve found an interesting announcement contact the selected organisation/ company and apply for the offer. Contact information and application procedure can be found in each announcement. The application process usually requires sending a CV and a motivation letter. After that, recruiter from the company/ organisation may contact you to arrange a phone/ video call. Remember that recruiters are not allowed to ask for any fees from the candidates.

3. Sign a written agreement

If your application is successful, congratulations! Then you should remember to sign a written agreement defining the conditions of your internship (or the selected form of cooperation). In the Important Information you can find some tips regarding what to include in this document.

4. Evaluate your experience

Once your experience has finished send us your feedback by evaluating your internship/ cooperation using this form. Filling in the evaluation form is not obligatory but it would help us in making sure that all the announcements shared in our database meet the necessary quality conditions.
1. Prepare and publish your offer
Use This Form to prepare and publish your internship offer in our INTERNSHIP & COOPERATION OPPORTUNITIES DATABASE. Describe what your offer entails and indicate a contact person. By using the form, you can also publish a research topic that you would like to see addressed in a student’s or PhD student’s thesis. ACTT4Cosmetics takes care of the promotion of the platform among its members hence ensuring a constant pool of talented students looking for opportunities. There’s no limit on the number of offers you can publish. Using our INTERNSHIP & COOPERATION OPPORTUNITIES DATABASE indicates that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the principles of the European Quality Charter on Internships and Apprenticeships. In the Important Information section you can also find documents describing the best practices for the internships providers. opportunities_database

2. Contact the organisation

Once your offer is published and visible, candidates will be able to apply for it. You will receive the application documents directly to the e-mail address given in the announcement. Evaluate the applications and select the candidate(s) you want to recruit.

3. Sign a written agreement

Prepare a written agreement with the selected applicant and their sending University (if relevant). The aim of this document is to set out the rights and obligations of the student, the employer and, if applicable, the sending University related to learning and working conditions or developing a joint research topic. In the Important Information section you can find some tips regarding what to include in this document.

4. Evaluate your experience

Once your experience has finished send us your feedback by evaluating the internship/ cooperation using This Form. Filling in the evaluation form is not obligatory but it would help us in making sure that all the announcements shared in our database meet the necessary quality conditions.

Pre-verification of the organisations/companies

All organisations/ companies which publish their offers in our database are asked to submit their Registration / VAT Identification number in order to verify their legal legitimacy, i.e. prove that the company is formally registered in their correspondent body. For this purpose, the VAT Information Exchange System (VIES) of the European Commission is be used. This aims to contribute to the creation of a broad pool of quality internships provided to students and recent graduates by trusted organisations.

Recruitment fees

It is not allowed for the recruiters to ask for any fee to candidates when applying for an opportunity. The moment we detect that any recruiter is doing this in our platform or we receive any report about this type of activities, that organisation(s) will be banned and all its offers will be deleted without any further notice.

Erasmus+ Remuneration

We highly recommend that all offers include a compensation for the intern. However, if the interesting position doesn’t involve compensation please consult an Erasmus+ office or International Relations Office at your University to check whether you are eligible to receive funding for your internship from the Erasmus+ Programme.

Reporting a problem

If you think that there are some issues about the internship/ cooperation we should be aware of, do not hesitate to report it to us by sending us an email to info@actt4cosmetics.eu
