In the framework of the project ACTT4Cosmetics, partners will provide training session, in the form of webinar, on that topic identified as priorities for cosmetics industry resulting from mapping activities.
Don't miss the first webinar on Tuesday March 5th 5pm on the topic of "ESGs criteria and sustainability reporting for cosmetics industry"
What we will discuss about
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting has become increasingly important across various industries, including cosmetics. Consumers are increasingly considering ESG factors when making purchasing decisions, and investors are incorporating ESG metrics into their evaluation of companies. As a result, ESG reporting has become a strategic element for businesses in the cosmetics industry aiming to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
Why is it important to participate?
The European Union has been actively working on implementing sustainability reporting obligations for companies as part of the European Green Deal and the Sustainable Finance Agenda. The EU with Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive aims to create a standardized and consistent framework for reporting on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.
This legislation is expected to massively impact reporting activities of all value chain. This will increase a company’s accountability, prevent divergent sustainability standards, and ease the transition to a sustainable economy.
